" raze the past, build a present "

it's true that you can never return home again, at least in the state of your memory. glimpses and refractions of perceptions shatter and reformulate in the shadows of the present.

when you see the world changing around you and the cloak of age gets heavier. time passing. your face is shifting and gravity takes a hold of your body. limbs and joints jostle and creak.

but what hope for understanding. what a blessed chance to see, really see yourself and how the world moves forward. and in that seemingly drastic alteration of the past by the present, you too find in yourself that perhaps you too have the infinite ability and capacity to evolve as well.

how simple. how amazing.

tonight's homework:

bundle up, get out of the house. do something with the time you've been given.
