we find beauty in the most curious of places. for me it always lies in the details. small tiny attributes gleaming waiting to be discovered. the lines, the way it just all comes together.
the one sink with the modern fixtures among the eldersilver. the removed toilet but the classic flush-tank remaining affixed to the wall. the screwholes on bracing walls where renovations happened in a past year.
and this is just a restroom! i feel like i was transported into the film, t he hudsucker proxy , and any minute, some ole doddering businesstocrat is going to come in muttering to himself about the bottom line and profit shares.
and some secret part of me wishes that it’ll really happen. would it be too weird to ask for a couch in there?

i love that you can find so many daily opportunities to be inspired, share with others, laugh with strangers. deconstruct the day into easily consumable portions.

even if you think nothing is happening, maybe you’re not acknowledging the fact that you may be someone else’s happening, and by staying indoors on the weekend, you’re denying someone your sense of radness.

everything in transition. it’s in the details as well as the broad strokes. we just need to keep our eyes open.

we just need to keep our hearts open.
