back in town and the leaves shake from the trees. golden, paper-thin, floating on damp breezes. the season is altered as summer's last dregs linger and loiter in the wings.
looking forward to the shuffle and dirt paths, the produce come to fruition, the bounty, the pomp & the symphony of it all. i see you though the corner of my eye, through a clear window, waiting with a curl of your smile beaming and shining.
many thanks for the warm welcome back into your loving arms. i long to linger in your embrace, and dream of those warm colors in your evolving spectrum.
