" unexpected good times "

not heading blindly into situations is my specialty. but there are moments when you must hurtle yourself forward into the world. spilling out of your home like a snowball down a mountain.

perhaps danger, except your spider-sense is pretty much on point. maybe heartbreak, but for the most part it takes a certain focused amount of attention to achieve that state of being, and it never hurts to give it all a go.

you may find yourself smiling giddily with old friends on a rooftop in a strange part of a city you don't live in, and for not solely the first moments, but lingering on like the below of an echoed foghorn, the experience may resound with pleasurable fondness weeks thereafter.

tonight's homework:

don't fear looking back, just don't get caught in a wormhole of reflection unable to move forward.
